Problems in Using Ampoule

-Defective ampoules or incorrect operation can cause the nipple or even the bottle body to break when opening the ampoule, resulting in injury to medical personnel and the possibility of glass fragments falling into the liquid and causing pollution [3].
-During the opening process of the ampoule, particles from the glass and grinding wheel can also cause contamination of the drug solution.
-When a straight neck ampoule is broken by a nurse, many invisible glass fragments will fall into the medication, causing platelet rupture in the recipient. Once particles enter the heart with the blood, it can even cause death. Curved neck ampoules are easy to break and have neat incisions, with minimal glass debris, making them the only medical ampoules currently allowed for use.
Original national standard: GB 2637-1995 (implemented on August 1st, 1996, replacing GB 2637-1990). The new national standard GB/T 2637-2016 "Ampoules" was implemented on September 1, 2016
