There are many types of glass containers, which are classified as follows:
一. According to the size of the bottle mouth
1. Small bottle mouth.
It is a glass bottle with an inner diameter of less than 20mm, commonly used for packaging liquid materials such as soda, beer, etc.
2. Big bottle mouth.
A glass bottle with an inner diameter of 20-30mm and a relatively thick and short shape, such as a baby bottle.
3. Wide mouthed bottle.
Also known as a canning bottle, the inner diameter of the bottle mouth is greater than 30mm, the neck and shoulders are shorter, the bottle shoulders are flatter, and it is mostly canned or cup-shaped.
Due to the large opening of the bottle, loading and unloading are relatively easy, and it is often used for packaging canned food and viscous materials.
二. According to g.eometric shape
1. Round bottle.
The cross-section of the bottle body is circular, making it the most widely used bottle type.
2. Curved bottle.
Although the cross-section is circular, it is curved in the height direction, with two types of concave and convex shapes, such as vase shaped and gourd shaped, presenting a novel form.
3. Square bottle. The cross-section of the bottle body is square.
4.Oval shaped bottle.
The cross-section is elliptical, although the capacity is small, the shape is unique.
三. According to different use
1. Wine bottle. Wine production is very large, almost all in glass bottles, mainly round bottles.
2. Daily packaging glass bottles.
Usually used for packaging various daily small commodities, such as cosmetics, ink, glue, etc. Due to the wide variety of products, their bottle shapes and seals are also diverse.
There are many types of canned foods with large production volumes, and wide mouthed bottles are commonly used. The capacity is generally 0.2-0.5L.
4. Medicine bottle.
This is a glass bottle used for packaging drugs, with a capacity of 10-200mL for brown mouthed small mouth bottles and 100-1000mL for infusion bottles, completely sealed.
5. Bottles for chemical reagents.
Used for packaging various chemical reagents, the capacity is generally between 250-1200mL, and the bottle mouth is mostly screw or ground.

There are colorless transparent bottles, black bottles, brown bottles, green bottles, blue bottles, etc.
